The New Orleans Saints offense has been frustrating for fans all season long. In actuality, the same problems from past seasons continue to hurt the team.

Tensions are running high. In their Week 7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Saints made some impressively negative history.

Against the Jags, the Saints ran 87 offensive plays. That ties a franchise record for a regulation game.

It's ming-boggling for New Orleans. Against a top five team in the AFC, they dominated time of possession and won the turnover battle, but they still lost the football game.

The struggles continue to be a mixture of miscommunication and a lack of an ability to remain consistent.

The defense struggled mightily in the first half versus the Jags, but they stood up in the second half. Meanwhile, some drives looked effortless for the Saints offense. At other times, there was no sync to the offense whatsoever.

They simply cannot get out of their own way.
