New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz is officially back. After missing last season with an injury, the Saints star kicker returned in tonight's preseason game against the Packers. He was back to his old ways. At the end of the first quarter, Lutz nailed a 59-yard field goal as time expired.
The kicking situation for the Saints without Lutz last season was one of the worst in the NFL. That's what happens when you are without a top five player at the position. Luckily, Lutz looks like he is back at full health for the Saints.
New Orleans will need him to continue being a dominant kicker. Having his abilities and consistency all season will make a massive difference for the team.
