The New Orleans Saints took the field for their final minicamp practice on Thursday. Unfortunately, one member of their staff didn't survive the day.

Sterling Moore, who was brought on as a defensive assistant in 2022, has been let go by the Saints.

Moore wasn't a stranger to the Saints' organization before he became a coach for them. He played for the team for two seasons (2016-2017) and recorded 61 tackles and two interceptions in 19 games with 12 starts.

This is a bit of a shocking move considering the Saints had the No.2 ranked pass defense last season, and more assisted in coaching the defensive backs. Well, the 33-year-old is now looking for his next NFL coaching gig.
