The New Orleans Saints have had a busy offseason on the football field. Behind the scenes, the front office is making moves as well. The staff is enduring changes, and some members are grabbing promotions. The most notable promotion is for Khai Harley.
Harley was the Vice President of Football Administration, but he has been promoted to Assistant General Manager/Vice President of Football Operations.
Harley is known as the salary cap 'guru' for New Orleans. He has consistently found ways to create cap space over the years for the Saints in ways that many other executives could not. It's been a long time coming for a young, elevating piece to the front office.
In his 16th season with the Saints and 23rd in the National Football League, Harley has been a trusted member of the Saints player personnel staff under Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis with a primary focus of contract negotiation, strategic planning/management of the Saints roster and salary cap management. — via Saints team website
Additionally, the Saints hired Scott Kuhn as Director of Football Administration. Zach Stuart joins the org as Director of Analytics, and Ziad Qubti will be the team's College Scouting Coordinator. Rishi Desai joins the Saints as a scouting assistant, too.
As for the team staff, the Saints also hired Matt Giordano as a defensive assistant for head coach Dennis Allen.
Plenty of moves for the Saints' front office that will pay dividends down the road.
