If the New Orleans Saints find success on offense this season, Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara will be at the forefront of it. Carr is ecstatic to play with a dynamic running back like Kamara, and Carr has gotten great feedback from teammates so far in practice.

Carr had some comical, but serious, compliments for Kamara after practice. In particular, his comment about 41's route running stood out the most. Carr said that his route running is "not normal,' which is a very good sign from a veteran NFL QB.

The combo got some impressive reps in during minicamp on Tuesday. Kamara looked explosive, and the Saints new starter hit him in stride.

Kamara will be a key piece on offense for the Saints when he is on the field in 2023. The team added Jamaal Williams in free agency, but Kamara is still one of the most shifty, elusive running backs in the NFL.
