The Derek Carr era in New Orleans has begun. The team is 1-0 following a Week 1 victory against the Tennessee Titans.

At the conclusion of the game, Carr launched the game ball into the stands. It surprised some folks – as that was the football used for his first win with his new squad. He didn't mind, though.

“I didn’t want that one. There’s only one football I want… I’ll let you know when that time comes.”

It's clear that Carr is referring to the Super Bowl trophy AKA the "Lombardi Trophy" that's in the shape of a football.

The veteran QB joined the Saints to win – in a big way. He didn't find the team success with the Raiders that he wished for, and not all of that was his fault. Their defenses struggled. His offensive line was rarely impressive.

Now, he has a shot to be a major part of a top NFC team.
