New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is extremely excited about his new home. He's ready to compete with his new teammates, and he hasn't been shy about his love for the culture that the Saints exemplify behind the scenes. It's a close-knit group. He spent nearly a decade with the Raiders. Accordingly, his family is unsurprisingly used to him playing for that team.
His daughter, in particular, was a big fan of the team during his time there, and she showed that during the Saints' first training camp practice on Wednesday. After practice, she ran out onto the field and said "Touchdown, Raiders.". Carr explained to her that he was in a new city playing for a new team.
It'll assuredly be an unforgettable moment for Carr and his family. For his daughter, she'll have to learn quickly that he plays for the Saints now.
He's got some pressure on him to perform, but there's plenty of pieces around him to help him succeed. he's ready for this new opportunity and challenge in New Orleans.
