The New Orleans Saints are in the market for a new quarterback and one of their dream scenarios is slipping out of their hands.

The Saints don't have a high enough pick to get one of the top quarterbacks in the league. Sitting at 29, they likely won't be able to get the guy they want. So the dream scenario was to get Derek Carr in free agency for a semi-good deal.

It looks like that may be slipping away.

Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Carr's free agency decision is still between the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and the New York Jets, but he is leaning heavily towards the team that resides in New Jersey.

Carr has met with each of his options, and the team that he liked the most in terms of his visit was the Jets, who told him that winning a Super Bowl in New York would help him make the Hall of Fame.

It seems the possibility of the Saints being stuck with Andy Dalton or Jameis Winston for another year is becoming more and more reasonable.
