The New Orleans Saints are keeping their head coach. Dennis Allen will, at least, start next season as the HC. Meanwhile, two NFC South teams are searching for a new head coach. 

The Atlanta Falcons have been strongly tied to legendary HC Bill Belichick. The former New England Patriots HC is interested in continuing his coaching career, and the Falcons have emerged as a potential favorite for his services. 

According to multiple sources, Belichick and the Falcons could come to an agreement sooner rather than later. 

It's clear that both sides think that the fit makes sense. Atlanta has plenty of talent around the offense, and the secondary has some intriguing pieces, too. They have legitimate cap space and draft capital as well.

Belichick is intrigued by teams with high upside on the roster, and the Falcons do have more talent on their team than some of the other open teams. 

No deal is done yet, but all signs point to a new marriage between Atlanta and the legendary HC.
