Rookie running back Kendre Miller recorded his first NFL touchdown in their preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The rushing TD came just after a long throw and catch between Miller and QB Jameis Winston.
Miller looks healthy after an injury scare last weekend. He will be an important piece for the Saints this year. Alvin Kamara is suspended for the first three regular season games.
Miller and Jamaal Williams are expected to be the headlining RBs for the Saints to start the year. Miller got his first taste of an NFL score. Hopefully for New Orleans, it is the first of many for their third-round pick from this year's NFL Draft.
