After the NFL draft, many fans keep an eye on the contract that their favorite team hands out. Those contracts go to players they draft as well as undrafted free agents. For the New Orleans Saints, they've locked down all but one of their draft picks. The only remaining draft pick to sign is second-round selection Isaiah Foskey.

That doesn't mean it won't get done, though. In actuality, this is a very common occurrence, and many second-rounders have not been signed to a deal yet.

Second-round pick deals are often the most intense negotiations when it comes to draft picks. A clear precedent has not been set for an edge rusher that went in the range that Foskey did during this year's draft. Once that domino falls, many more follow it.

The Saints and their new pass rusher will get a deal done. They continue to work out the numbers, but we'll have an answer on what his deal looks like in the coming weeks.

New Orleans is quite excited about what Foskey can bring to their defense of the future.
