The New Orleans Saints added a couple of players on Wednesday. New Orleans was awarded linebacker Monty Rice off waivers and signed defensive lineman P.J. Mustipher.

Rice has been in headlines recently for a reason that fans may not love. Mustipher is a veteran interior DL that has bounced around the league a bit recently. He was most recently on the Denver Broncos practice squad.

Rice was waived by the Titans on Tuesday. He wasted no time going to social media to throw shade at his former team.

He's the second player to show backlash on social media after getting released by Tennessee in the last month.

Rice is still just 24 years old. He showed flashes of being a productive player on defense, but he never quite got his footing to be a consistent starter. Clearly, he disagreed with that situation while with the Titans.

For New Orleans, he won't start on defense when Demario Davis and Pete Werner are healthy, but he could get reps if either misses time. Werner missed last week, and Nephi Sewell stepped in for him at LB.

Rice also provides special teams experience. He's played 412 snaps on special teams at the pro level in three seasons.

Rice totaled 128 total tackles, five tackles for loss, and two pass deflections for the Titans.
