Saints sign former starting offensive tackle
Saints add some depth.
The New Orleans Saints continue their shopping spree for depth in free agency. After adding some impact players over the last few days, they just made another intriguing addition.
The Saints are signing former Los Angeles Chargers starting offensive tackle Storm Norton.
Norton was the starter in LA in 2021 due to an injury. Norton has been a backup offensive lineman for most of his NFL career.
Norton is 28 years old. The Saints are signing him to a one-year deal, most likely to be a backup offensive tackle on their depth chart.
Along with the Chargers, Norton has spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings.
He is experienced depth that the Saints may need during this season.
