The New Orleans Saints are keeping one of their own. During a free agency where they have made some notable moves on defense, add one more to the tally.
This time, New Orleans signed one of their depth defensive backs from last season to a new deal.
The Saints re-signed DB Ugo Amadi to a new one-year contract.
Amadi is labeled as a safety, but he can play some cornerback as well. Most of his production comes on special teams, though. Amadi was a veteran leader in the locker room in 2023, and the Saints were smart to bring him back for depth purposes.
The Saints now have five former Kansas City Chiefs on their defense for next season.
