Chris Olave shows up in support of LSU
On Saturday evening, the LSU women's basketball team began postseason play with a massive victory over San Diego State, 103-48. Olave was in attendance for the win.
Olave has emerged as a fan favorite player since he was drafted out of Ohio State. When healthy, he's proven to be one of the most exciting, young wideouts in football. Unfortunately, he has dealt with multiple concussions in his young career.
Another concussion ended his 2024 season far too early. He was healthy enough to return to the practice field over the final two weeks of the season, but with the playoffs out of reach, the Saints erred on the side of caution. A good choice – in my opinion.
Olave made some headlines earlier in the offseason for his take on an LSU/OSU controversy, too. Gotta love CFB debates at every level.
He thinks that the Buckeyes, not the Tigers, are "WRU" in college football. Olave said that he would give his former team the edge when it comes to consistently producing NFL talent at the wide receiver position.
“I feel like the numbers show recently, the way we [Ohio State] have been producing year in and year out… I feel like we’re No. 1” — Olave
Regardless, it is nice to see Olave supporting a local team in the ladies from LSU.
Kim Mulkey's team will face the Florida State Seminoles in round 2 of the tournament. LSU is a three-seed, while FSU is a six-seed. Both teams won in a blowout in round one.
Saints reveal their entire 2025 coaching staff under Kellen Moore, including a former star player for New Orleans
There is plenty of intrigue surrounding the New Orleans Saints for the 2025-2026 season. Derek Carr will be back at QB. They did not embrace a rebuild. They've got an offensive guru and first-time head coach leading their team, fresh off a Super Bowl victory of his own. With that, the Saints have made sweeping […]
