The New Orleans Saints have a lot to look forward to in the 2023 season. They're the favorites in the NFC South. They have a new veteran quarterback. Everyone is currently healthy. Not to mention, their schedule looks to be one of the easiest in the entire NFL.

Could all of that boil into a trip to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas for the Saints?

Star edge rusher Cameron Jordan certainly thinks so. In fact, Jordan says that he expects a Super Bowl win for New Orleans this year. That confidence should excite fans for this season.

"Nobody has ever walked into a season (and) been like, 'Ooh, I hope we win 10 games'… No, I'm trying to win each and every game that we play. My expectation is being 21-0, 22-0, whatever it takes to get to a Super Bowl. I want to beat each and every team we line across…"

"Every tackle, who I'm never gonna know their names, but like every dud that's out there, we're trying to beat the breaks off of them. I'm trying to get to each and every quarterback. The reality is, we have potential. The mentality is, we want to as a defense take over each and every game. And there's no allowance to be like, 'Hey, I think we could be a 12-5 team.' I think we can win each and every one of these things."

He's got a fair point. All players want to win. That being said, being realistic is a different story.

For New Orleans, it'll be tough with the top teams in the NFC like Philadelphia and San Francisco, but they'll have the opportunity if they stay healthy. Jordan wants to make a reunion in Vegas very special for his new quarterback.
