The New Orleans Saints have more injuries than any other team, it feels like. Obviously, every team is dealing with injuries at this time of the year, but the Saints feel like they are affected the most.
Now, two starters are soon to be out, which is just great. Starting guard Andrus Peat suffered a pec strain last week and is considered week-to-week, which means he will likely miss Thursday Night Football against the Cardinals.
That puts backup Wyatt Davis starting at left guard on Thursday.
Deonte Harty is also injured. The starting punt and kick returner is dealing with a foot injury and is on injured reserve, and it appears worse than we initially thought after seeing Marquez Callaway's Instagram story.
In the story, it appears his foot is wrapped to look like a soft cast, and looks as if he could be using crutches, but not 100% sure about that.
Fans have been sour on the idea of Harty since Rashid Shaheed burst onto the scene. Because of the injury to Harty, we will likely see more of Shaheed.
