The New Orleans Saints fan base is not really in a good place right now. The fans are tired of losing, and why would they not be?

They are tired of having such a balanced, great roster on paper, and not seeing that transfer over to the field. They are also probably tired of seeing what is being put out on the field.

This is a fan base that deserves a winning season and expects that every year, yet they are currently 3-6. This is a fan base that deserves some answers from the coach, but they aren't getting that either.

In fact, Dennis Allen is a big reason the fan base may feel some type of way about their team.

And, I'd even go as far as to say he should take some notes from Jeff Saturday, who is a first-time head coach but had an amazing press conference for the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts recently fired Frank Reich after a terrible start and a few bad seasons. To replace him they brought in interim head coach Jeff Saturday, who is an ESPN analyst and former center for the Colts.

He has also been a team consultant over the years. He has done everything you can think of, besides coaching anything above the high school level.

But, he does have something that Allen does, and that Allen could take some notes from.

Saturday has energy. Like, that's really it. He has that, and he has the ability to let the fans buy into what he is selling. He has a connection. He has faith, and he has a message.

If I'm being honest, Allen has none of those things. At least, in my opinion, he doesn't.

I think the fans maybe wouldn't be so miserable, or however, they were feeling, if Allen made things a bit easier for them. But, maybe that is just me.
