New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau made an intriguing decision for this season. He's not only gonna play with his former QB Derek Carr in The Big Easy, but he will also wear his former teammate's number.

Lucas Krull was recently cut by the Saints. Moreau spent a bulk of this offseason in the tight end room with Krull. Ultimately, New Orleans chose to keep the veteran over the younger option. Now, Krull is in Denver with Sean Payton.

Moreau has decided to grab Krull's former number with the Saints. He will wear '87' this season.

Moreau figures to be the backup tight end to Juwan Johnson this year. He has tons of chemistry with Derek Carr already after multiple years with him on the Raiders. They share a strong bond and connected for plenty of touchdowns over the years.

He was a solid red zone target for the veteran QB, and the Saints need more of that from him this season.

Krull was a camp casualty as the result of multiple other additions at the position by New Orleans. Sean Payton clearly likes his skillset (shocking) – since he scooped him up for the Broncos.
