Tyrann Mathieu gives back
Nick Underhill posted a couple of pictures from Mathieu's latest endeavors, giving away 300 turkeys for Thanksgiving.
On a yearly basis, Mathieu has events and gives back to fans and the people of New Orleans and surrounding areas for different holidays.
In 2023, he surprised Son of a Saint families for the holidays.
The Saints defender spent time with them and even took care of their Christmas lists. He is truly one of the best people in the sport when it comes to spreading love and positivity off the football field.
Mathieu makes history vs. ATL
The long-time Saints defender actually made some more history in Week 10 as well. He's making moves on and off the field.
During the win over the Atlanta Falcons, he recorded his 36th interception. That's tied for the most among active players with cornerback Patrick Peterson.
The play changed the game in the fourth quarter for New Orleans, swinging momentum back in the favor of the black and gold. Mathieu will always be a New Orleans legend, but his story is far from over in this city.
