New Orleans Saints defensive back Marcus Maye has a new court date scheduled for his pending legal case in Florida from 2021. The jury trial is set for July 25, according to Broward County court records. ESPN first reported the updated date early on Monday.

The case and outcome are some things to keep an eye on for Saints fans. Maye could be in line for a suspension at some point this season. Now, we know when the case will take another step forward.

Maye faces three misdemeanor charges pertaining to an alleged incident from February of this year. Driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and DUI property damage are the three mentioned. The Saints safety also received a citation for careless driving.

Maye has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Only time will tell how this situation turns out for the Saints. They also await the decision from a legal case for star running back Alvin Kamara.

No discipline has been handed down by the NFL to either player as of yet.
