The New Orleans Saints wide receiver corps didn't receive a ton of love during the offseason.

Michael Thomas got his normal disrespect due to injuries. Rashid Shaheed was not discussed often. Chris Olave was the sole bright spot, according to some folks when it came to the pass-catching unit in New Orleans.

Through two weeks, it is the best WR trio in the NFL. The pace probably won't continue, but all three of them are on pace for over 1,000 receiving yards this season. They have zero drops through two games, too.

With Derek Carr, Olave and Shaheed's downfield ability can shine in this offense. They were held back in the past due to QB play.

Now, MT is healthy as well, and that adds a veteran presence to the room that excels in space. The other two provide him with plenty of that with their explosiveness.

It will be intriguing to see the trio''s production by season's end if they can stay mostly healthy. The depth is better than anyone expected for the Saints at wideout.
