The New Orleans Saints will battle the Tennessee Titans to open their 2023 campaign. It is an exciting one for New Orleans, who expect a bounce-back year form Dennis Allen and company.
Week 1 officially got more difficult for them on Friday. The Titans posted their final injury report of the week, and wide receiver Treylon Burks does not have an injury designation. He'll play against the Saints.
Burks dealt with a knee injury earlier in the offseason, but he practiced full all week. He will join DeAndre Hopkins atop the WR depth chart for Tennessee.
Burks is a young, dynamic receiver that has impressed when healthy so far in his career. It's possible that both Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor get a handful of reps against Burks. They need to be ready to go. QB Ryan Tannehill isn't afraid to push the ball downfield, and Burks is a playmaker.
Expect plenty of Marshon Lattimore against DeAndre Hopkins – as long as Lattimore is healthy enough to play. He practiced all week in some capacity and has no injury designation for the game right now.
