For Bresee, it hasn't been an easy past two years for him and his family.
He started just four games in 2021 due to a torn ACL. In 2022, he lost his sister, Ella, to to brain cancer at the age of fifteen. Additionally, he missed time late in the season due to a kidney infection. Overall, Bresee is the definition of battle-tested.
He has persevered through a lot of hardships to get to this point, and the Saints clearly believe in his talent. Getting that call in the first round is always an emotional experience, and Bresee will never forget that because of the Saints.
