Daniel Jones is free to sign wherever he would like. The New York Giants have moved on from him, and he passed through waivers unclaimed on Monday.

Jones' next team

There have been a handful of suitors for Jones so far. According to Josina Anderson, Jones has "zeroed in" on a leading candidate to join. Jones is also expected to tell teams where he will sign tomorrow, Wednesday, November 27th.

According to Anderson, the Las Vegas Raiders could make a play for Jones. Starting QB Gardner Minshew was injured in Week 12. He will not return this season.

Jones would prefer to sign with a contender, and the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings are both potential landing spots for him, according to Adam Schefter. Jones is not expected to make an immediate decision, though, according to Ian Rapoport.

For the Giants, they have their own QB situation to figure out.

Tommy DeVito's status is up in the air for Thursday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. He is banged up, so Drew Lock or Tim Boyle could get the nod for New York. Only time will tell.

Regardless, this chapter of the Daniel Jones saga will probably come to a close rather soon.
