The New York Giants need to stay healthy entering the 2024 season if they want any chance at starting the year off right. That premise came into question in a major way when their 2024 first-round pick hobbled off the practice field on Sunday.

Rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers was clearly shaken up after a rep and had to be looked at by trainers. That being said, it seems like the young Giants playmaker avoided anything serious on the injury front.

After practice, Nabers was in great spirits. He even interviewed with Kay Adams. Nabers told an intriguing story about direct messaging Odell Beckham Jr. during that discussion, too.

The rookie wideout also talked about his relationship with quarterback Daniel Jones. They are gaining chemistry together, and Nabers wants his QB to find confidence in him – even as a rookie target.

"I told him… just put the ball around me and I'm gonna make a spectacular catch."

Hopefully, Nabers and co. can stay healthy during practice and preseason games leading up to the real action this season for the Giants.
