Giants HC Brian Daboll sends crystal clear message to team’s front office after win vs. Colts

The New York Giants pulled out one of the most surprising wins of the 2024-2025 NFL season in Week 17. They beat the Indianapolis Colts, 45-33, in a game where Drew Lock looked like a potential Pro Bowler.
No, no, he is not one. It was a great performance, but it should not change any views inside the front office when it comes to the future at quarterback in New York. They must find a new starter, either through the draft or free agency.

"If you get quarterback play, you have an opportunity in every game."
Daboll clearly wants a new QB in the building, and this was a not-so-subtle nudge towards that concept.
Of course, it is possible that New York's ownership moves on from Daboll at the end of this year and begins a new operation. At the same time, the coach has also shown to be a great offensive mind when given better talent at the quarterback position. There are so many factors involved.
We will see if Daboll gets his choice at QB this offseason, or if the Giants choose to make widespread changes for a "true reset" entering next season.

Instead of packing it in and laying down, securing the top pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, New York played their best offensive game […]
