Giants: Darius Slayton contract details
Last seasons receiving yardage leader is back on a two year deal.
The Giants re-signed their most reliable receiver from 2022 earlier this week, bringing back veteran Darius Slayton.
They will look to add more talent this offseason but as of now, this was best for both parties.
Per Over The Cap, this is how Slayton's new deal breaks down:
Base Salaries:
2023: $1.4 Million
2024: $2.5 Million
"Darius Slayton signed a two year, $12 million contract with the Giants. $4.9 million is guaranteed including a $3.5 million signing bonus. If on the roster on the 5th day of the 2024 league year Slayton will earn a $2.5 million roster bonus. Another $4.5 million in incentives and escalators are available."
Slayton's APY of $6 million ranks him 41st amongst active receivers in average salary per year.
He has a 2023 cap hit of $4.2 million and a 2024 cap hit of $7.75 million, accounting for 1.8 and 3.0 percent of the team's total cap.
