It is no secret that the New York Giants are targeting offensive talent early in the 2024 NFL Draft. A trade back could occur, but if they stay in the top ten, Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze is a strong candidate for them.

They've shown interest in Odunze already, and he is an expected early first-rounder. They lack upside at wide receiver right now outside of the young Jalen Hyatt. Expect that position to be a heavy target during the entire draft – not just round one.

Odunze is one of the top three wideouts in this year's class. Some argue that he may turn out to be the best due to his smooth transitions and big play ability. The ceiling is immensely high for the former Husky.

Check out Odunze's full draft profile here.

Odunze is receiving many comps to All-Pro WR Davante Adams.

His diverse route tree and strong hands make for a comparable skillset. Adams may be a more fluid athlete, but Odunze wins downfield on jump balls more often than just about any prospect to enter the NFL in recent years.

An NFL scout shared the Adams thought regarding Odunze. His movement is unique, and that transitions to the league. They expect massive things from him early and often in the pros.

We will see if the Giants decide to stay put at the sixth overall pick or elect to move down. Regardless, Odunze is a player to keep an eye on for NY.
