In this year's 2023 NFL Draft, the New York Giants definitely didn't have their phones on silent. They were an active team on the trade market, including moving up one spot to select Deonte Banks in the first round. Additionally, the Giants trade picks 89 and 128 to the Los Angeles Rams for pick 73. That pick was used for Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt.
With that move, among others, Giants head coach Brian Daboll received a nickname. He was coined "Trader Dabs" in the new mini-documentary series on social media by New York.
It's a pretty solid nickname for the young HC. Daboll had a great debut season a year ago for New York. The Giants will look to build on that this season.
