Another week – more of the same for the New York Giants. They just lost in embarrassing fashion to a previously 4-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad. They made TB look like one of the top teams in football.

Giants offense struggles

New York fell down 30-0 to the Bucs to start the game. They did  not score a point until the fourth quarter. By then, it was far too late to even make the score a respectable one for the Giants.

The rushing attack for the Giants never got off the ground. Tyrone Tracy Jr. had a couple of nice gains, but Tampa played heavy in the box to force DeVito to beat them. He did not.

New York finished the loss with 245 total yards and 17 first downs. The Bucs had 24 first downs and 450 total yards. Keep in mind that they took their foot off the gas a bit late in the game, too. They only scored once in the second half.

Nabers backs DJ

After the loss, Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers was expectedly emotional. He is tired of the mounting losses for New York and the lack of urgency seen around the team.

Nabers has now gone five games in a row without a touchdown and more than 71 yards receiving.

The young wideout also discussed the change at QB. He doesn't feel like the change made a difference.

"It ain't the quarterback. Same outcome when we had DJ (Daniel Jones) at quarterback. It ain't the quarterback." — Nabers

When questioned about play-calling, Nabers said that he didn't know if that was the issue or not. It's tough to not think that he feels that shares some blame, though, since he is relieving some heat from the quarterbacks.

No matter what – the floor is basically lava for the Giants. They have no chance at the postseason. They're projected to pick in the top three of the 2025 NFL Draft after six weeks.

HC Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen are assuredly feeling some major pressure as the leaders in the organization at the moment.
