The New York Giants have been smart this off-season. Their moves have been measured, and their biggest one outside of Daniel Jones was a fantastic choice. The Giants traded the 100th overall pick in this year's NFL draft in return for tight end Darren Waller.

The Giants have been searching for an impact tight end for years, and they have one now.

The duo of Waller and Daniel Bellinger could be really exciting for years to come.

Marc Sessler, of NFL.com, discussed the move and gave the Giants their flowers for going after Waller

Waller is coming off an injury-bashed campaign, but who can argue with the Giants acquiring his gifts for April’s 100th overall pick? The 6-foot-6, 255-pound tight end is two years removed from his last 1,000-yard campaign, but an upright Waller looms as a bounce-back candidate under the spell of crafty coach Brian Daboll.

Fans are ready to see Waller on the field for New York. That makes plenty of sense.

Daniel Jones needed more weapons during this off-season, and he is a great start.

Adding more top-end talent at wide receiver needs to be on the Giants' agenda, but their WR room is already better than a season ago. They just need to stay healthier.

It is nice to see GM Joe Schoen get a bit of credit for a very smart move, regardless.
