The New York Giants made headlines earlier in the week when they addressed the linebacker position, signing one of the better free agents in Bobby Okereke.
Per Dan Duggan of The Athletic, we finally have the full terms of the deal, which includes four years and $40 million dollars.
Okereke's base salaries:
2023: $1.9 million
2024: $7.9 million
2025: $5.8 million
2026: $5.8 million
Okereke's fully guaranteed, $21.8 million comes from his 2023-2024 base salary and a $12 million dollar signing bonus.
With an APY of $10 million, Okereke ranks 12th amongst all active linebackers in average yearly salary.
