The New York Giants set NFL social media on fire earlier this year when they unveiled a new alternate uniform. The Century Red look was an attempt to bring back a blast from the past. Unfortunately, the Giants now just possess one of the worst looks in the entire league. Fans and sports personalities let them know that on social media, too.

New York has doubled down on their newest creation now as well. They'll kick off their 2024 regular season against the Minnesota Vikings in the alternates.

The Giants will wear their Century Red uniforms in Week 1

It's a brand new look in totality. Fans were not receptive to the new alternate when the team announced them earlier in the offseason.

The Giants have a hearty description for why they chose the look. It's somewhat historic for their franchise. That doesn't change the idea that they look putrid, though.

According to the New York Giants, the new look combines the 1938 season, 1933 jersey, and 1925 pants and socks. That's great and all, but it doesn't change the fact that the pants aren't even really a color. — Travis May, A to Z Sports

Of course, their uniforms won't determine their play in Week 1. The Giants apparently did not get the "look good, play good" memo when they created these uniforms or picked them to start their 2024 campaign, though.
