The Giants are bringing back one of their own, and it's going to make both players and coaches happy.

Per Jordan Raanan of ESPN, the Giants are re-signing Jihad Ward to a one-year deal.

Ward played in all 17 games last season, his first in New York.

The veteran recorded 43 tackles, 13 quarterback hits, and 3 sacks for the Giants playing as both a starter and rotational pass rusher.

This move ensures depth behind Kayvon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojulari, while simultaneously keeping a veteran presence that is appreciated in the organization.
