The New York Giants are in an odd spot. They won a playoff game last season. That being said, they amenity the favorite in their division this season. The Giants aren't even the favorite to grab second in the NFC East by many folks, either.

On the other hand, they have a gritty defense with an improving offense that upgraded its offensive line and weapons during this offseason. They like where they are at after extending quarterback Daniel Jones.

However, holes on the roster remain at interior offensive line, safety, and linebacker. The depth is lacking, but the Giants don't have a ton of cap space to play with at the moment.

New York currently sits 27th in cap space currently. They have just under $4 million in space at the moment, so they are limited when it comes to adding impact talent.

It will be interesting to see how the Giants attack their remaining needs on the roster before the season begins as well as at the trade deadline.
