The New York Giants just lost a key piece to their offense. Yet they wasted no time making a necessary roster move to fill the void.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that guard Shane Lemieux tore his bicep in Wednesday's practice and has been placed on injured reserve.

In response, Rapoport further wrote that the Giants have brought on a familiar face, signing interior offensive lineman Sean Harlow off the Cowboys practice squad.

Lemieux began his career with the Giants, being drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He earned a starting spot his rookie year, playing in 12 games with nine starts. In his second year, he suffered a knee injury that resulted in needing season-ending surgery. In 2022, he started the season on injured reserve but was activated for just over a month starting in mid November before being played on season-ending injured reserve once again in December. And it has happened once again in his fourth season.

As for Harlow, the veteran signed with the Giants in August, but was released later that month as part of final roster cuts. He signed with the Cowboys practice squad the day after being released, but has ended up back in New York.

And the Giants get to take someone from a division rival which always makes it better.

New York has made numerous roster moves this week alone, signing four offensive linemen off practice squads due to injuries on the team.
