The New York Giants have plenty of holes on their roster. On Friday, they made a strength even stronger. They brought back a former first-round pick after a productive season in 2023.

According to the team, the Giants re-signed safety/linebacker Isaiah Simmons.

Simmons is a former eighth overall draft pick and was acquired by the Giants via trade before the start of last season. He's a hybrid defender that played fairly well when called upon in 2023 for New York.

He totaled 50 tackles, three passes defensed, and one interception for a touchdown last season.

The details of the new deal are not known yet.
