The New York Giants got an important deal done on Friday afternoon.

The Giants are signing Graham Gano to a three-year contract extension. The former Pro Bowl kicker could finish his career in New York. The deal is worth $16.5 million over the three years – with just above $11.3 guaranteed.

Gano has been nails for the Giants so far in his time with the team. He was arguably the best kicker in football in 2020, making 96.9% of his field goals. Last season was another good one for the veteran. He went 29/32 on FG attempts and 32/34 on extra points.

Gano made a strong statement on Twitter after signing the deal. He's clearly excited to stick around in New York.

At 35 years old, Gano still has more left in the tank as an NFL kicker. He's shown no signs of slowing down. The Giants locked down a key contributor for the next few seasons.
