It is officially that time of the year for the NFL. Madden ratings are being released for this year's video game, and discussions have erupted. For one New York Giants star, he got the props that he deserves with his rating in this year's game.

Interior defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence is ranked as the third-best IDL in the NFL in the ratings. He is a 94 overall, behind only Chris Jones (96) and Aaron Donald (99).

For Lawrence, he is still more under-the-radar than some of his counterparts. That being said, national media has begun to give him a bit more attention after his unbelievable season last year.

He is elite, and the Giants made sure to get his contract done during this offseason. His extension was an expensive one, but he is worth every penny. Madden ratings would agree with that sentiment, too.
