The New York Giants (2-5) are trying to win consecutive games for the first time this season as they take on the New York Jets (3-3) in MetLife Stadium.

This is officially an "away game" for the Jets, even though they're playing in their own stadium. Either way, it should be an interesting matchup as both teams continue to fight for their postseason lives.

Will you be able to watch the game on TV? If you live in the blue areas on the map below you'll get this game on your local CBS channels, according to 506sports.com:

1pm ET broadcast map for Week 8506sports.com

The Giants-Jets matchup (blue) is competing with three other games during CBS' 1pm E.T. slate: Jacksonville-Pittsburgh, New England-Miami, and Atlanta-Tennessee. Honestly, it's a bit surprising to see the Jags-Steelers matchup take up the overwhelming majority of the map, but that's what one gets when watching two teams with a combined 9-4 record. This week's crew will consist of Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, and Matt Ryan.

If you can't watch the game on TV, there are always streaming options such as Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV, DAZN, FuboTV, and many others.

And, if you'd rather listen to the game on the radio, check out the Giants Radio Network for local stations.

Regardless, Week 8 represents a tough test for the Giants, especially on offense. The Jets defense allows 19.8 points per game, which is good for 13th-best. What makes that number even more impressive is they give up the ninth-most yards per game at 351.8. The difference between the two numbers is explained by the defense's red zone prowess: The unit has held opponents to a 36.8% conversion rate, which is the fourth-best rate in the NFL.

The Giants defense has really flexed its muscles over the last couple of weeks, however, which should help keep them competitive in the long run. The unit has allowed just 10.5 points per game over the last two contests and three offensive touchdowns compared to forcing three turnovers. Wink Martindale's unit also held the Washington Commanders to a dismal 1-of-15 conversion rate on third down last week.

It remains to be seen if Daniel Jones will play in this game. If he doesn't, Tyrod Taylor will take over, yet again, in an attempt to win his second game as the starting quarterback for the Giants.

This matchup represents the 15th meeting between the Giants and Jets. The Giants currently hold an 8-6 edge over the Jets and have won four of the last six meetings since 1996. At the same time, however, they've lost the last two meetings since 2015.
