Game Info

The Giants are set to host their regional rival at MetLife Stadium, and both squads are aiming for perfect preseasons.

The Patriots dominated the Washington Commanders in Week 1, 48-18, and defeated the Minnesota Vikings 20-12 last week. Two rookies made headlines for their exciting performances for the Patriots.

Second-round running back TreVeyon Henderson finished last week’s game with 20 yards on four carries with one touchdown. Additionally, undrafted free agent wide receiver Efton Chism III, out of Eastern Washington, has been coined a huge steal after his second straight huge game. Against the Vikings, he totalled six receptions for 71 yards and one touchdown.

At quarterback, the Patriots have played veteran Josh Dobbs and Ben Wooldridge. In the last game, Dobbs finished with 11/16 for 106 yards and one touchdown.

On the Giants’ side, fans are captivated by how much rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart will play after his promising first two games. While the starters will likely play more snaps than in the first two contests, Dart could play with the first-team offense for longer.

Additionally, Giants fans will be tracking the position battle for the second outside cornerback spot between Cor’Dale Flott and Deonte Banks. They will also see fringe roster players like Beaux Collins, Montrell Washington, and Dante Miller fight to stick with the team after stellar preseasons.

Ultimately, this Thursday will be the Giants’ final chance to establish solid footing before they take on an incredibly challenging regular season schedule.
