Whelp, here we are. A 0-2 start to the New York Giants’ season with two extremely frustrating losses. Right when the Giants are hoping to avoid any more attention, they get to face the Kansas Chiefs in a primetime battle for everyone to witness.

How to watch Giants vs Chiefs

The Giants are returning home to MetLife Stadium to face the Chiefs at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 21. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC on Sunday Night Football.
Mike Tirico and Chris Collinsworth will provide commentary for the game.

Game info

Both squads are looking to bounce back from winless starts, but the Chiefs’ and Giants’ seasons have been polar opposites.

The Giants are hoping to recover from a 40-37 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys, in a game that was filled with self-inflicted wounds. While the passing attack was more potent and the pass rush was disruptive, 160 penalty yards allowed for Dallas to hang around throughout.
Now the Giants hope to ride some offensive momentum from last week into a game that will require the offense to be firing on all cylinders. A 0-3 start to the season would be devastating and would create a gigantic hole that head coach Brian Daboll would struggle to dig himself out of.

For Kansas City, their two losses came narrowly against two difficult opponents. They fell in Week 1 in Brazil to the Los Angeles Chargers 27-21, who look to have taken a massive step this year. Then, last week, they lost in a Super Bowl rematch to the Philadelphia Eagles 20-17.
Against Philly, quarterback Patrick Mahomes struggled, finishing with 187 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The Giants are hoping to be just as disruptive as the Eagles’ defense was, as they totaled 10 QB hits and two sacks.

Ultimately, this game will likely be a get-right opportunity for the Chiefs to begin a run towards winning their division. Inversely, the Giants’ many issues will likely hold them back against a more established team.
