The New York Giants currently hold the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. That's great? What's bad? Basically everything else surrounding the franchise right now.

Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll are catching plenty of heat as the losses mount, and the dysfunction grows at every level of the team. In the team's Thanksgiving loss to the Dallas Cowboys, New York suffered some more debilitating injuries.

Injuries pile up

Dexter Lawrence

Lawrence is dealing with a dislocated elbow. It is considered a long-term injury, according to HC Brian Daboll. There is a possibility that the star lineman's season is over.

Theo Johnson

The rookie tight end has a foot injury, which is considered to be potentially season-ending, according to Daboll.

Giants QB Tommy DeVito "expects to return soon" from his forearm injury. He did not play in Week 13 because of the ailment. Drew Lock started in his place.

Regardless, it is a "when it rains, it pours" scenario for the G-Men.
