The New York Giants season has been brutal, to say the least. Their struggles led them to make the tough decision to move on from Daniel Jones.

This has added more fuel to what already seemed like a burning fire for the Giants to draft a QB in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.

And their 2024 first-round pick, Malik Nabers, might have gotten a head start on catching passes from Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Nabers' rookie season has undoubtedly been affected by the Giants' QB situation, but he still leads the team across the board with 126 targets, 80 receptions, 819 yards, and three touchdowns, even though he has missed two games so far this year.

Nabers has shown himself to be the player the Giants believed he could be when they selected him with the sixth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. To get the most out of their talented WR, they have to improve at quarterback as soon as possible. It appears they will have that chance because if the season ended today, the 2-11 Giants would own the second pick in the draft.

This should land them one of the top two QBs in the upcoming class: Miami's Cam Ward or Colorado's Shedeur Sanders. While this isn't a big deal, Nabers and Sanders went out of their way to play catch in the streets of New York. And it has fans wondering if they've seen a glimpse into the Giants' future
