The New York Giants hype train hit a bit of a rough spot in Week 15. After a few weeks of strong performances, they handed fans a dud against the New Orleans Saints. The Giants lost the matchup, 24-6, and both sides of the ball had plenty of issues.
That being said, the defeat did help their draft spot in the first round in 2024.
The Giants now pick 7th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft after Week 15, according to Tankathon.
Accordingly, New York continues to hold a top ten spot. They could go plenty of directions.
Quarterback may be on the table but the top two will surely be gone by the time New York picks, unless they are able to jump into the top three somehow.
The offensive line needs more help, so offensive tackle will veritably be on their radar. Adding a wide receiver alongside their young talent and that spot would make sense as well. The top of the draft class at WR is extremely impressive.
On defense, it's tough to see them going that route early in the first round, but nothing is impossible. If they did, another first-round CB would be most likely.
New York faces the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16. They're 5-9 after fourteen games of play, while the Eagles sit atop the NFC East.
