The Super Bowl graced the town of Las Vegas, NV for the first time in history, and it certainly won't be the last.

Sin City is always a fun time, until it quickly isn't. The number of regretful visitors leave town wishing they had never came is too high to count.

Add New York Jets All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to the list.

Gardner posted on Twitter/X this week that he is not going back to Sin City after partaking in a card trick that seems to have genuinely freaked him out. He believed he was simply taking part in an innocent card trick only to discover the trick turned the cards into a block of glass. It was enough for Gardner to make his decision public.

"I'm not going back to Vegas."

Here's the good news: New York won't play in Las Vegas again until 2027 at the earliest. The Jets and Raiders just played each other in Allegiant Stadium this past November, which means the Jets will host the Raiders in their next confirmed matchup in 2026. They'll play an AFC West team on the road in 2027, which could be the Raiders if they finish the same in their respective divisions in 2026.

Gardner being one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL is why he was out celebrating with the game's best at the biggest event in the sport. Who could have guessed the player who makes open receivers disappear on the field would be terrified of deception? Perhaps he will stick to watching magic from now on instead of participating in it.

Don't worry Sauce, you're not the first person to swear off Vegas after a bad time. And you won't be the last.
