The New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs game ended in dramatic fashion on Sunday night after a controversial call possibly determined the outcome of the contest.

There were two calls in the fourth quarter that benefited the Chiefs, one of which involved star cornerback Sauce Gardner.

Jets cornerback Michael Carter II intercepted Mahomes, but it didn't count after the officials threw a late flag claiming Sauce Gardner held Chiefs receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Gardner did not believe this was holding.

That came after the officials missed a blatant holding call when Patrick Mahomes ran for 25-yards thanks to OT Donovan Smith holding Jets pass rusher Jermaine Johnson.

These two plays were vital and allowed the Chiefs to run down the clock, ultimately taking a knee to claim victory.

And many believed that some of this had to do with Taylor Swift's presence (but don't go blaming the pop star). Instead, fans were accusing the officials of calling the game in the Chiefs favor because Swift was there to watch her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce. She also brough along an all-star lineup of friends to join her.

The NFL certainly did not help their case, changing their Instagram bio to give a shout out to Swift once again.

The NFL and Travis Kelce have seen a serious increase in viewership and sales due to Swift's newfound love of the game. But people are worried it is now effecting the game.

Gardner took to X, the app formerly known as Twitter, responding to a post twice about the incident.

Here is what he said:

He then deleted it and reposted a similar sentiment.

Both posts have been deleted, but he added another.

Gardner wrote, "9/10 that ref has a family and kids so I'm not gon add to it and say what I really wanna say."

That post has also now disappeared from his timeline.

For a team that has been through many tough times already this season and is facing a lot of criticism from the public, the Jets truly showed that they can compete with the best teams.

However, these calls might have altered the outcome and because of that, head coach Robert Saleh, Gardner, along with the rest of the team and fanbase are upset over what happened. And he some have decided to voice that publicly including Gardner.
