We are officially through two weeks of the 2023 NFL season. Nine teams remain undefeated, while nine still haven't earned their first win of the season.

Follow all the NFL's trends throughout the season with us here at A to Z Sports. Each week, we will release an updated NFL power rankings based on the most recent performances by each NFL team. If you missed Week 2's power rankings, click here.

NFL Power Rankings Week 3:

1. San Francisco 49ers (2-0)  ↔️

For the 2nd week in a row, the San Francisco 49ers are atop of our power rankings. The WR duo of Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk has been lethal to start the season. Brock Purdy continues to quiet doubters. And their defense is the real deal. In a weaker NFC, the 49ers have shown themselves to be the best team in their conference and the best team in the entire league.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (1-1) ↔️

The Kansas City Chiefs offense started out slow in Week 2 but shut down the Jaguars offense all day long. They got two of their star players back this week in, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones. And I now think it is safe to assume that the Chiefs are going to be just fine after dropping their season debut.

3. Dallas Cowboys (2-0) ↔️

There hasn't been a more dominant defense in the NFL so far this season than the Dallas Cowboys. Micah Parsons' DPOY campaign is starting off strong through two weeks. Neither the Giants nor Jets have had any answer for the dynamic pass rusher. And the Cowboys secondary continues to make plays to get their offense the ball back. The top three teams on this list honestly feel like they are in a tier of their own to start the season.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) ↔️

The Philadelphia Eagles remain undefeated and in the top 4 of our power rankings. While 4 is an incredibly high ranking, I'm sure some fans will be upset that they still fall in 2nd in the NFC East. After losing both coordinators, I think the Eagles have had some early-season rust show through the first two weeks. But continue to get the job done.

5. Miami Dolphins (2-0) ↔️

The Miami Dolphins offense has been the most exciting offense in the NFL so far this season. Tua Tagovailoa's deep ball looks better than ever, and the WR duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle continue to look like one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL. The Dolphins defense needs to play better to take some pressure off Tua and the offense, but it hasn't stopped them yet, as they improved to 2-0.

6. Buffalo Bills (1-1) 📈 3

The Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen needed a bounce-back performance in the worst way. As they trounced the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10 and, Josh Allen threw three touchdowns and 0 interceptions. After their disappointing Week 1 loss, the Bills had a lot of answers they needed to find. But after Week 2, they are hoping Week 1 ends up being the outlier by the end of the season.

7. Baltimore Ravens (2-0) 📈 5

8. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) 📉 1

9. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)📉 3

10. Detroit Lions (1-1) 📉 2

11. Los Angeles Chargers (0-2) 📉 1

The Los Angeles Chargers have way too much talent to be a 0-2 football team. As Brandon Staley's team still struggles to win close games. This week, they fell to a less talented Tennesee Titans team. Everyone knows the stats about 0-2 teams and their chances of making the playoffs. The Chargers need to figure this mess out quickly, or their season will be over before it really has a chance to start.

12. New Orleans Saints (2-0) 📈 2

13. Cleveland Browns (1-1) 📉 2

14. Green Bay Packers (1-1) 📉 1

15. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) 📈 2

16. Minnesota Vikings (0-2) ↔️

17. Los Angeles Rams (1-1) 📉 2

18. Seattle Seahawks (1-1) 📈 2

19. Washington Commanders (2-0) 📈 5

The Washington Commanders offense, run by Eric Bienmany and Sam Howell, has been firing on all cylinders to start the season. And now are in a three-way tie at the top of the very talented NFC East. Their defense has struggled a bit to start the season, but if they can find a formula to get both units playing to their ceilings, this team could shock a lot of people this season.

20. Atlanta Falcons (2-0) 📈 2

21. New England Patriots (0-2) 📉 2

22. New York Jets (1-1) 📉 4

23. Tennesee Titans (1-1) 📈3

After Week 1's performance, the Titans needed a win, and they fought for this one to move to 1-1 on the season and in a three-way tie for the top spot in the AFC South. Ryan Tannehill was careless with the football in Week 1 but showed drastic improvements in Week 2 as he completed 20 of 24 attempts and had 0 interceptions. This team still has some things they need to figure out on offense, but it's a lot better doing that 1-1 instead of 0-2.

24. New York Giants (1-1) 📉 3

25. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) 📈2

26. Denver Broncos (0-2) 📉 1

27. Indianapolis Colts (1-1) 📈 1

The Indianapolis Colts offense looked primed for a big day before Anthony Richardson left the game with a concussion. They scored two touchdowns on their first two drives and had the Houston Texans number from the opening kickoff. Even after Richardson went down, the team's offense moved the ball well with backup Gardner Minshew to get into the win collum and move into a three-way tie for the top spot in the AFC South, which is a testament to Shane Steichen's ability to run an offense early into his first year as an NFL head coach.

28. Las Vegas Raiders (1-1) 📉 5

29. Carolina Panthers (0-2) ↔️

30. Houston Texans (0-2) ↔️

31. Chicago Bears (0-2) ↔️

32. Arizona Cardinals (0-2) ↔️

The talk of the offseason was how the Arizona Cardinals were preparing for a full-on tank year this season. But so far, through two weeks, the Cardinals have been competitive in both of their games. This week, they were even up three scores on the New York Giants in the 2nd half, but the talent discrepancy got the better of them in the end. This team plays hard for first-year head coach Jonathan Gannon, but their roster remains at the bottom of the league.
