We're past the half way point of the NFL season now. It's time to start the second half of the year. This is time of year that turns boys to men. This is journey to end of the road. I know it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday, but you have to move forward before the water runs dry so you can get to that one sweet day in February where you hope your team will be on bended knee in the final minute of the Super Bowl.
This week doesn't have the major matchups that last week had, but there's some big games this week. The Jacksonville Jaguars vs the San Francisco 49ers is the one that stands out the most. The Jags seem to just keep winning and have three straight losses, the 49ers need to get back on track.
Other standout games the Detroit Lions vs the Los Angeles Chargers, The Houston Texans vs the Cincinnati Bengals, The Cleveland Browns vs the Baltimore Ravens and the the Carolina Panthers vs the Chicago Bears. That last one interesting for draft reasons. The Bears just kind of win no matter what. I think a tie would be funny.
There were tow champions last week.Bengals beat writer John Sheeran and Chiefs beat writer Charles Goldman tied at 11-3. Who's going to come out on top this week?
